I think I've seen a meadowlark once in my lifetime and that was on a winter migration with a group of blackbirds! The blackbirds and the lone meadowlark were eating seed I had left on top of the snow. It was a rough winter that year.

This is a great image, and I'd be thrilled to have taken it myself. The lighting is really nice.

Wow, perfectly timed & capture, excellent detail and textures - love those markings and the touch of yellow. I've never seen them up here.
