While walking in Chalco Hills, I rounded a bend and heard a large splash. I saw a heron, not standing in the water, but actually in the water with his wings spread. Thinking you don't often see a heron bathing, I was swinging my camera around when he climbed up on the bank with a good size fish speared on his lower bill. I was able to get several good shots of him having his meal. My daughter-in-law always complains that I am good at catching people with their mouths full, but somethings that is a good thing. (grin)
