Very nice shot. This looks like one of those plants that captures insects. You're lucky to have an arboretum near you. I'm enjoying your plant photos.

I find the concept of meat eating plants to be a bit disconcerting. How do they feed these at the Gardens, Jeff? Do you know?

I love the detail that you captured on the plant, especially the internal freckles of color within the pitcher.

Actually, I've read that they don't really need meat to digest in order to survive. I assume these take care of any stray bugs that might inadvertently find their way into the greenhouse.
