A fantasy rainforest painting of mine - complete with little frog ;]...sorry the brush work is not entirely clean but I couldn't be bothered to edit this...hope you'll forgive and enjoy!...PrettyFae x
Oh Fae...no apologies necessary...this is marvellous...so much to look at and so colorful and delightful...well done and Good Luck in the contest.:Pat.
Hi..did you do this on the computer or in reality? what kind of medium did you use if it was on canvas...would love to know more about it. Its very very pretty indeed..only thing I wish is that the froggie was a bit larger and in the foreground more so I could see him//her even better...but its just lovely!! I like the look on the frogs face, the way he's poised there..
Thanks Verena ^_^...it's actually hand-painted - in reality (lol, not on the computer)...and erm...I don't want to sound dumb, but what's a medium?
Also, I agree that the frog is a little too small, but I couldn't make him any bigger without sacrificing some of the plant life ;]
Medium - What you use to create (pencil, paint, ink, digi etc.)
That being said... so watercolor, acrylic...? I think it's absolutely fine as the lines go - for a painting especially. Nice clean composition. My fave from the contest entries I've seen thus far.
Ahh, right I see now ;]...well I actually used some very high quality poster paints (Which are excellent because they dry absolutely flawless unless they've been watered down too much) on an A1 sheet of heavy weight cartridge paper :P
That's all the info I can give really...
Thanks for the support guys!
Wow! Fae you have so much talent, this is gorgeous and fantastic, I can see why you are waering a crown, now you have a prince charming to kiss!!(LOLL) ;0))!

Very nice work indeed. This would make a wonderful illustration in a children's book because it is simple and colourful enough to appeal to children, but complex and appealing enough to appeal to the adults reading to them as well. A neat trick if you can do it, as all the best children's authors and illustrators must.
