Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Neat, I read a book with these in it. All they did was run away from the tri-pods. But this is a really cool pic.!

nice image, maybe you could have added moutains in the background or mess with the ground. Its to give a cool effect rather just a plane for a ground.

Saw this on the Homepage Features...Nice render, and it DOES look like the War Machines featured on the Jeff Wayne musical rock version of the War of the Worlds...

Pretty cool metallic and mechanical representation. Plus good perspective. One question, though. Since the legs are attached on the sides, how does it walk without falling over the first time it takes a step? The distance the legs come out from the sides is too far for the machine to overcome the physics of gravity. If you're looking for realism I'd suggest repositioning those legs closer to the bottom of the machine. Any successful science-fiction image of a tripodal machine, as seen in the earliest and the latest editions of War of the Worlds, does just that. (Actually, I just noticed the date you submitted this image so I imagine you've already made adjustments.)
