This sunset was delivered to our table. No really! If you look carefully, you'll notice that most of the reflective "water" you see is actually the very shiny table I was sitting at, indoors at a restaurant. I simply set the camera on the table for the picture. :)) The nice part is that the waitress didn't even charge us for it!

That's amazing, Quiet! If you hadn't said anything, I would not have known! But, because you did say, that's makes this all the more of an amazing image. Those tables are so clean, they probably can't keep a cloth on them. lol Fantastic idea and shot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

very interesting picture and but for the explanation probably would have done me like a kipper!the only givaway i suppose might have been the fronds on the left which are cut-off point blank on the "horizon".this is all rather irrelevant though.the fact is this is both very beautiful and very innovative.i half-close my eyes and see three distinct bands, the meat in the sandwich being the glow of the horizon.super shot and opportunistic too, simon.
