New camera. Picked this little fellow as my first study. I think he actually may have been running in terror since the lens was only inches from his eye stalks. But, I mean, I had like 20 minutes before he moved a couple inches. :)

Hysterical title! I like the way you filled the frame, and the swirl of the shell is set against the linear ridges. Not sure if it's my monitor, but there seems to be a bit of a hot spot on the upper edge of the shell.

Good work with your new camera. At least you don't have to worry about motion blur, unless you take a real long exposure shot. Great title for your photo and a lovely close-up.
