Your right Raphael, this is a magnificent heron in such beautiful coloured water. Love the texture of the grass in the foreground, reflection in the water and marvelous clarity.

Paint the kitchen today. Momma's not any better.
the blue water looks nice and I like the fact that you kept the bird to the lower half of the frame, but I would have preferred to see more of the reflection. However, it is a good picture anyway and the colours, especially the blue, are wonderful with the contrast of the heron.

A nice shot. Could have had more impact with more foreground showing, to provide continuity with the reflection merging with the shoreline. As is it will still produce more impact by cropping the water from the top by about half. You could even crop from the right border to between the grass clumps to empasize the direction of gaze and balance the format/composition again. Just minor adjustments but will place far more emphasis on the heron and it's directional stare.
