Most of us just think of the Mountaain Laurel in it's blossom stage. So, in view of that, I thought I would share with you, the Mountain in it's bud stage. I wanted to capture the delicateness of these small pink buds. that I accented with a soft background. These are common in the Eastern United States. The buds that are pictured here, are located in Western North Carolina. Enjoy!

Just a photographer no artist, I capture what I see
I agree about the flowers being more in bloom, but you can't always get that. I like the focus and over all composition. The shot looks a bit underexposed though. thanks for sharing.

I like the soft colors, but maybe it could be a little clearer... nice shot though.
