Seems that super sharp flower pics are now the fashion and this one certainly fits the bill. :)PJ

There was a reason I placed you on my Friends List. This is one of the reasons. Gorgeous and a keeper.

Splendidly sharp and clear and beautiful colours - a pleasure to see.
I would prefer all of the greenery blacked out of the background but thats just me :)

Hi Raj...I saw this on the front page and it is a beauty. Very detailed and with great clarity. The pieces of green in the background are a bit of a visual disturbance but could be easily cloned out in post-editing. I would like to see the outer frame a bit smaller but this is still my new desktop! Many thanks for sharing this with me;=)

My goodness! What a most beautiful photo of a magnificent Dahlia. I really like this, but I feel IMHO the lavender framing would better enhance the photo if it were black. I think it would give it the elegance this flower deserves. Other than that I think it's totally lovely..Verena

What a beautiful flower Raj ... I love the crisp clarity in this full screen. My only quibble here might be with the frame. It IS most complimentary but to me gives the impression it's undersized for the image. In other words I would like to have the entire blossom untouched by the frame if that makes any sense. Nevertheless my friend this is one gorgeous shot of one gorgeous blossom ... Well done.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
