I saw this in the voting booth and now that I have a little more time to view it, I can understand why I liked it at first blush..and it's not so much the activity going on in the background, rather it's the contrast between that intense green of the moss-type vegetation in the water and the tree that looks as if it is in hibernation...the shadows and the differing colors of the rocks in the foreground also add interest here. :)PJ

Most of us can only imagine this marvelous trip to Crete, this gorgeous of Greek islands in the Mediterranean Sea! I am assuming this was taken on a vacation, because I noticed you are from the UK?
