Another photo from the Dorset coastal region. This is "Bats Head" Notice the small chalk stack just to the right of the piercing in the cliff, this is called Butter Rock. This stretch of coast has now been officially given World Heritage status and is now of equal importance as The Great Barrier Reef in Australia. It was given the status because of its archeological importance, now being called the Jurassic Coast because of all the fossils and geological importance. For a LOT more information on Bats Head and the region..... http://www.soton.ac.uk/~imw/durdle.htm Cheers! Ray.
