This is the second of four pictures of a dramatic sunset my family and I experienced while out fishing on the Colorado River at Picacho State Park on Thanksgiving Day 2006. The park offers diverse scenery, including beavertail cactus, wild burros, bighorn sheep and thousands of migratory waterfowl. (The park is on one leg of the Pacific Flyway.) Maybe this year, I'll get a picture of the bighorn sheep, which are just amazing to see in the wild. :)
