One wonders what else this branch would have written if given a few more moments. Shhh. *click*

It looks almost upsidedown. Nice composition.

I agree about it looking upside down but no matter, all straight line directions that you go in this world become up at some point. Your choice works well for this image. Good job.

ooooo.. no tricking you two! It is inverted, with intention, to hold the viewers eye a moment longer. Sometimes, when things 'don't look quite right' we stall to reconcile it. This, I thought, was subtle. ... not subtle enough! Dang, I was caught. *wink*

Well done.

I thought it might be upside down too and it doesnt matter if its not subtle you were right, it did hold my eye for a good few moments longer that it might have. I still thins its a very clever and imaginative composition with lovely shadows and contrasts. Well done on such a silently beautiful image. 10/10

Well done Rob. I love the shadowing.
I like your framing just to add a comment more.

Very nice image. It flowa well across the entire photograph. I like the shadows of the other off camera branches, They seem hold the eye from the bottom of the image

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

Works well in either direction. Do like that you've inverted it though.
