Yes Rob,that very same day I stopped at the waterfront before work and shot "Sunrise Cove".Next time for sure !!.Fine photo of the Mayflower.Looking foward to seeing more from your trip and thanks.

Thank you for your kind expressions. It would have been GRAND to have shared the dock with another Cadre member. It could have been a shame though, you know, people crowding around US and all, taking attention away from the Mayflower II. It just wouldn't seem patriotic! *wink*

A great shot indeed...sure wish I could see the "whole" thingy..

Hey Geri,
I considered taking a photo of the whole ship but I thought this would hold a greater interest. I tried to adhere to the rules of 3 by positioning the ship and considered the placement of the yardarm (the horizontal rigging on a square masted ship like the Mayflower). If I had presented a shot of the "whole" thingy (*smile*) it would have been a different shot altogether.
Perhaps better.
