The original photo of this Ferringous Hawk was nice but the background contained a lot of distraction from a chain link fence. I added a bit of gausen blur and I added the matte which I thought complimented it very well.

This is great capture of a noble bird. The clarity is excellent and so is the lighting and so is the pose. Good job removing the chain link fence.

The only change I'd like to see is this. Because the bird's body is inside the green border and his head outside, one gets the impression he is tilting sideways.

Excellent job. It's very creative, yet doesn't distract from the magnificent photo of the hawk. I really like what you have done here. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Getting such a nice close up of this beautiful bird is a great accomplishment in itself, but the work you did with the background, frame, and mat is very well done as well. Glad to have you contributing on Caedes.

Excellent view of this handsome hawk. And thanks for the narrative explaining some of your work on this photo. Super job getting this lovely close up, with fine details. Gorgeous feathers and coloring. I like the way the hawk is outside the border, like he's thinking of flying out of the frame :) That's a fine log he's perched upon. The background blurred green and the darker green border is complimentary to this fantastic bird. Pat yourself on the back Chris, for a job well done :*>
