I like almost everything about this shot. Very nice balance in the placement of the subject in particular. (Plus very nice use of depth or field.) My only suggestion would be to try it out in B&W or sepia tones. It's nice like you did it but it gives a more artistic look when in monotone. (In the darker area / shades there is some colder blue toned that sill look better when it all is in the same shades. I tried it myself before suggesting it to be sure.)
This is a really nice capture, however I dont think I would got as close as you did on this. This close just shows the lack of care that statue has had or its just old. I would of backed off about 5 to 8 feet if it was possiable. Then the flaws wouldnt have been so obvious. However this is still very likeable capture.
Thanks to everyone who commented, I'm glad that everyone likes it, and I'm very thankful for the suggestions.
Klas- I think I will change it to b/w or sepia, I hadn't even thought of that.
Bill- The statue is too small to back off 5 to 8 feet, but I do have a picture of it that is a little further away, I'll see if I can find it, and if I can I'll post it.
