I love all winter scenes, and this is truly a good one. Some critique for a change, if you allow me to?
The branch is blocking the main target, the house, in a pretty big way and this irritates the eye, and makes the otherwise really pleasant view seem somehow lacking.
I would've moved a bit to the left and left the branch more to the right of the pic to show more of the house.
Anyhoo, I like the shot, and the area where this was taken must be realy beautiful in all the seasons, right? Seems like it, we got some places like that here in the neighbour country. :)

A wonderful winter scene, Susanne! So cold and yet so beautiful. This is a marvelous composition with the tree in the foreground, and I like the dark red color of the house amid all the white.

nice, I'd have liked to live there! Out of curiosity, where is this? And does it have a jacuzzi? :) I'm amazed how the ice covers everything, even the windows! Is it abandoned? Or are the windows double-pane to protect leakage of energy?
