Interesting - I can't quite decide what it reminds me of... perhaps the only evidence of an underwater city?

Excellent work. this is one of my favorites, and my current desk top. (You have claim to most of the images I use) The only thing I would do to possably improve the image wpuld be to add a negative sphere to the disks in order to make them actual rings, you can only see bits and pieces of the inner surfaces but is is somewhat distracting, at least for me as the texture seems slightly out of place. but than again this might interfere with the optical view of the central object. Regardless the image is excellent.
