I used Pierre's "Springtime 3" because I thought the distinct areas in the photo would make it easy to work with. Don't ask me what's going on here, I dunno... but I wouldn't want to be around when it happened.

Interesting image.. looks like aliens landing crossed with the bushfires thats making the grass melt.. =) love the colour of the sky, very nicely manipulated.. good luck in the contest

Yes, I agree with the dripping grass comment. I also like the untouched foreground, as if the cataclysm hasn't yet gotten that far. Good work.
