This is the Shotover River, famous for it's jetboat ride and for being the site of the world's first bungee jump. We didn't do either; partly due to lack of time and partly due to lack of enthusiasm; but we did take a helicopter ride and this is one of many shots taken on that trip. More soon.

A very powerful picture the sun is really doing its part with its play on the landscape. Good shot.

A rugged and beautiful looking landscape. I like the play of the light and shadows across the scene. Nice viewpoint.
