This was inspired by Little_Art_Gurl's image here. I realised after viewing it (and it's rather shiny new shed) that my place was a treasure trove of "rustic" elements (ie rubbish)...

Clockwise from top left: Corrugated iron; cattle gate; fence post; bed frame; water tank; discarded timber.

Any suggestions for improvement appreciated.

Nice variety of textures and pleasingly arranged.

In having viewed Maria's 'rustic' samplers, the creative thought never occurred to me to present a collage of images. The idea works.

Suggestions?

The upper right image of the fence post could use a lil' more context? To be thematically accurate (more so)?

Water tank, although interesting.. seems a tad out of place.

Colour palette wise, fits in. Just thinking it might be more modern than what the word 'rustic' conjures up in my pea brained head.

At least, that is my constructive critiquing story.. and am sticking to it.

Nice one, Sam. The framing is indeed a nice touch.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

interesting collection. Really takes time to explore each in detail, great textures.
