Saw your image here earlier, bookmarked ... ... well, did more than that, really.
Have a look at this rework of sorts (hope you don't mind) to see the picture worth my next thousand words.
Of interest to you, perhaps ... note that the lil' upper right section that was peeking in at the top ... has been cropped out.
Your composition is very good. Love the diagonal lines and placement of your photographic subject.
The only real caveat that I have, in my humble opinion of course ... is that of the exposure.
Certainly challenging lighting conditions. Shadowed area to that of the lighted. Some adjustment and/or additional light (fill flash?) might have alleviated some of the exposure discrepancies.
That said ... I really enjoy your photo here. :o)
The varying textures alone are a treat for the eyes.
Nicely ... done.
And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)
p.s. I trust that my words here find all is well with you and yours ... and your camera.
"There is always something waiting at the end of the road ... if you're not willing to see what it is ... you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place."
Oh my, just had this in VB and gave it a high score. I us to catch these little guys and boy are they fast. He's throwing out his throat to attract the ladies and also warning you not to get any closer
I've never seen a lizard like this before. It's a beautiful little guy. I like the rework by purmusic a little better since the lizard is the primary subject of your photo.
