A photo of the 2nd city Manarola, along La Cinque Terre trail in Italy.
I took this photo with my girlfriend in June 2007 while walking "La Via dell'Amore" (The Lovers' Pathway).
My wife and I stayed there two and half years ago during Christmas.
Lovely place indeed. This is a very nice picture of the town, probably
the best that you can take from the land.
What a strange place to build a town, the whole town looks as if it’s in danger of sliding into the sea. It makes a mighty fine photo though and I expect it’s great fun to explore.
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
I highly recommend that anyone visit the towns of Cinque Terre, it is by far one of my favorite places in Europe! I only wish this photo could do it justice.
Great pic. Very sharp with terrific colors. Homes and structures on the side of cliffs always amazes me. I guess I'd worry about the rocks giving away underneath.
Lovely place indeed. This is a very nice picture of the town, probably
