I don't know anything about flowers so I normally don't photograph them. I had to take some shots of them however on my recent camping trip because there were more wild flowers than I've ever seen. I'm not sure if the increased rainfalls make them grow but they were all over. The bright, clear weather and lower forest light that day made for a good setting. This pic was taken at the Pinery Prov. Park, July 12, 2008. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI and a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM lens. I took it at a focal length of 97mm with a shutter speed of 1/50s at F/4.5 and ISO 100. I probably should have changed the ISO to 200 but ....

Had this gorgeous capture on VB this morning, gave it a 10. I really love this shot of the black eyed Susans, we have some. The colours, clarity and composition is AMAZING.

You did a good job with these flowers. I don't know anything about them either, except you are supposed to send them to your sweetie, and water them a lot. I like the way you almost filled the entire screen with them.
