This pic of the rapids at Stubb's Falls was taken at Arrowhead Prov Park - Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, Sept 17, 2007. It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI and a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM lens. With an aperture value of F/5.6 and ISO 200, I used a reletively low shutter speed, 1/60s, to give the water a partially frothy look to it while still getting some still-freeze action.

Very good view of the river and the bridge,the clarity is good too,it is a very good nature photo.

It looks to me like you worked hard to capture the wide dynamic range in the one shot but I think the impact of the image suffers from that. The highlights are still washed out and the colour density is lacking in the rest of the image. I reckon a tripod and bracketed shots, hand blended if necessary would solve both problems. The span of the bridge helps create an interesting framing element to the river and it's clear your composition was thoughtful.
