i agree with u.....i think horizontal borders are a lot more palatable i think.....but its a cool pic anyways.: )

Why not make one with and without the borders and then everyone will be happy. :) I like this, but I think it would look real good without the border. That would give it a limitless feel.

Great and very striking central image. in my opinion though the borders would be fine if they didn't look so wooden - a bit more metallic maybe. Just an idea :)

i love the border. most fractals i have seen dont have borders. the border just puts it into focus also if one uses it for desktop wallpaper the icons dont get lost in the colours

This is enough to knock your socks off. I find it so bright, I squint my eyes. Fantastic composition. This thing lives and breathes. It is alive. Very well executed.

I have seen this before, a long time ago, so I was amazed when I saw it again. Just wanted to say that this was a very well done peice. I think that the border needs to stay, for it makes room for the icons, and makes a good mood with the abstract. Well done!
