In my youth, there was a rock band which went by the name of "The Zombies." Their big hit was "Time of the Season." When I first saw your title, my mind drifted off to their music and 1968.

Your leaves resting under running water are symbolic of this passage of time. These leaves, much like us, stay in place as so much passes over our heads.

Excellent work here Steve. Good eye too in noticing this great setting for a shot.

Marvelous find and capture Steve. Love the rippling water that is so clear you and see the bottom.

Great idea Steve and well captured. I'm thinking the impact would be greater if the smaller leaf were gone, I might try cloning it out but with the ripples and light the task might be beyond my skills and my patience. He He.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Somehow it reminds me of being less than ten while exploring the woods around my granddaddy's old place. Lovely captivating details through the water and on the surface as well.
