This shot was taken a week ago at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. I was gifted with a few seconds of sunlight before I had to run for the car. This same weather system spawned a tornado that struck the northern part of Minneapolis.

Great work, it's often very tough to get a subject like this to emerge from it's surroundings but you totally nailed that with this shot.

Hello Steve....I love the way you have used the light to your advantage...It certainly has helped to enhance the colour of the trees against the very dark sky....I love to take photos with this type of light...I like to use light against dark and dark against light in my photography....well done....All the very best to you Steve.............mick.
