What I really like about this shot is its focus on the sky. In my experience a lot of photographers (myself included) tend to stick to the scenery on the ground, using the sky as a backdrop more than anything. In this photo the opposite is true - the vivid colors draw the eye upwards, and even the bay below reflects the tones of the sky. The shore, dark by comparison, appears present only to ground the rest of the image.
I saw your photograph and decided to take a look at your gallery. You seems to specialize in sunrises, sunsets and water reflections. And I might add that you do beautiful work. If it's ok with you, I would like to add you as a friend and keep track of your very beautiful work.
I can use all the superlatives to describe this photo. Suffice to say that this would probably rate an 8 in the VB. So instead of telling you the many wonderful things about your photo, I'll list the only thing I don't like. And let me preface this by saying that it doesn't bother me all that much anyway. But I disagree (only very) slightly with ChicagoBob noted above. Admittedly the sky is beautiful and should be the focus of this shot. I personally would have cropped just a tad off the top. Not much of a criticism, but I tried.
