These mountains are out in western Victoria. There was smoke in the air from burning off all the stubble in the fields.

Awesome, I think a little contrast correction here would make this image perfect! Great job.

Thanks Shane. In fact it has been corrected for contrast. The haziness that you see is not the normal digital low contrast, but rather the smoke in the air. When I tried to increase the contrast further, I lost the detail in the sky.
