"The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight" is the title of a remarkable (life-changing) book about our planet and how we are using up the last hours of oil and coal (ancient sunlight stored for eons) and the threat that this poses to the world. It also points the way forward to a world that does not depend on this dwindling resource. The photograph is of an oil refinery at sunset. I have posted a cropped version of it before. My thanks to Chris Sheridan whose suggestion to post it in a UNEP competition was the catalyst for giving it a title. (http://www.unep-photo.com/en/index.html)

Absolutely superb image..both in a literal sense and also symbolically. Gets a 10 from me just as a photo, but add in the text and the ideas behind it and wow!, it blows me away. IMHO, this is photography at its best!
