Thanks for your comment, Pom. In fact I took this about .75 of a stop under and then brought it up in photoshop. There is detail in the highlights, but I would probably need to spend a bit more time playing with it.
The shutter speed was 0.6 secs at f11. I might have gone slower, but I was on a viewing platform which shook every time my friend's dog trotted across.
