The best advice I can give is use a sturdy tripod. Overall your comp is quite good and this is definitely a place worth shooting.

It’s a delightful scene all right. If you reduced the exposure to hold some detail in the whites you would get a more pleasing photo with darker shadows. The composition and colours are great.

You've gotten some very good advice from the two fine commentors before me. They both are very good at their art. I like your pick of subject. It's very pleasing and creates a fine sense of tranquility, edged with the strength of all the power of that water. 40 feet is a long drop! My only advice would be to watch the horizon line. Probably the tripod would help with that, but I think this is canted off to the left just a little. Can't wait to see more posts from you. :)PJ
