I have always wanted to take a photo like this. where I live there are a lot of harbours and boats and chains, thats for sure. I love the way you did this. Texture is great and so is the depth of the photo. Verena

I like how the chain continues on into infinity. I think it's interesting to look at everyday objects with different perspectives.

Great composition! I just the depth of focus here is on one link, the second into the image. The first impression is I want to see more of that detail of the chain. Maybe a greater f?
Or combine two shots if you did not want to sacrice the blurry ground which works really well here?
