Very nice. I like the lighting and the textures. The blurred background really makes the subject sharp.

Before posting this I re-read the snapshot guidlines and felt that it was more artistic than not. Although I am obviously biased I tried to evaluate it honestly. On another note, I struggled with where to crop this photo, ie to show the knee or not. Someone said they liked it because it hints at what the pose (that she's sitting not standing) I wasn't sure weither it distracted from the overall effect or not. Thoughts would be appreciated.

i think if you were going to fall at the mercy of photographic 'rules' then perhaps you could recrop it to be slightly offset to the right and not have the knee showing at all. as a finishing touch I would try and wash out the colour saturation a little so it is in keeping with the tone work of the denim and the overall feel of the piece. hope that helps
