Cant imagine how difficult it is to capture a campfire. Looks like you got it right to me. And don't forget the lovely crackly sounds you get as the wood spits and glows.

Oh, you're bringing back some wonderful memories :) I can smell that wood burning and the wonderful sounds it makes. Perfect title. Beautifully shown with the curling of the flames. The pitch black nite shows off the fire in the best way. Very good idea Matthew :^)

It looks as if you cut something out. Im not trying to be all negative or anything.

Good call, I did cut something out. A couple embers had fallen on the ground around the fire and they looked like little spaz spots on the pic so I just cut them out.

Great shot but I do agree with the others about it looking cut off at the bottom it Would look amazing if you rounded off the bottoms of the smoke in a program like Ms Paint.

Ahhh, I understand now, your both talking about the rather straight line under the flames. Actually that was not me. The fire was in a tire rim and the line is mearly the rim..of the rim lol.
