This is a rework of Paul Gerritsen's Against the Wind. When I started reworking his masterpiece my thought was to create something for wall decor with the colors pulled back a little so that it would work well with other colors in a room. I ended up trying to make the image look older, kinda like a color print from the 60's. When I was done I decided that it would make a good desktop so I added the background to it. Please tell me what you think, and check out Pauls gallery!!

Well, this makes the original composition look totally different. It almost has the atmosphere of a painting from one of the famous artists of long ago. The clouds sure are robust and full of texture and color. Same for the grasses. Nice rework, Chip.

I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends. Sincerely, Carrie

Hi Chip, I love this, the alterations you have made are most desirable, and most attactive! By pulling back on the colors, and the other changes you have made, you have instituted a new character and personality, if you will, with a great deal of CHARM! There also seems to be an attitude, that was non-existant prior! I really like this and will add it to my favorites, possibly make a wall hanging of it! Thank you Chip! Good job! The original was gorgeous too, as is all of Paul's work! Sincerely, Marilyn
