my first design. I like the site's layout pretty much the way that it is. I wanted to see the top new images instead of just the names. I also wanted the member activities seperated from the navigation. I also happen to prefer darker sites. ; ) suggestions welcome...please.

This has my vote I really like black background web pages. I was considering do one in black for the contest nice work Tracy.

i like it very much. will this layout be available? i especially like the way you used the logo in the corner...dunno why, but it is cool looking.the dark is VERY nice, and i also like the fact that you can see the new images without clicking on the link.

Excellent stuff Tracy.. but then i expected nothing less :D..i'll certainly be inspired to do something darker now.... i was worried that the 'stuck in there ways' attitude might disfavour dark ones... but now with you paving the way im thinking.. ahhh stuff them.. they dont know whats good for them :D

yeah agree with Grim & Otaku, & all the others, this is the best one so far for me. very easy on the eyes, clean, crisp, nice font & i also have a soft spot for darker web pages : ) very well layed out indeed. Damn fine work, i was thinking of doing a black one too but this is sweet, however i will try my hand at it but i fear that it wont do. : ) this is wicked :{D

the layouts really nice, i like the colors a lot too. i think it needs to be a lot more polished, the graphics aren't sharp. you also took my idea :-p of the spider icon sprawling across the bg

wow...this is good. i was gonna do something dark like this but i see you beat me to it. no worries, it won't stop me :)
My only suggestions for this would be to give all the modules (sidebar, bottom bar, main workspace) the same edges. The workspace is diff from all the rest, and I think u should change the bottom and sidebar to match it. I also think the sidebar is too wide. w/o the users online being posisioned there, it doesn't have to be very wide at all.

I agree with the above remarks (your work is always excellent, Tracy), and would only suggest condensing the text by about half -- perhaps swapping the textural center with the images. This format with a more graphical look would be a great choice. Kudos!

I usually don't go for black background webpages, but this is done pretty well. I particularly like the rounded border areas. I don't really care for the slanted spider though.

Maybe if you understood the basics of art and its power then you wouldnt be asking me stupid questions on how to do such things PEOPLE!
There is nothing wrong with the site now... but that would be completely awesome to have instead of this... it is easier to understand and a lot easier to see than this white background with black text... I don't like to be blinded by the background... You got my vote for a BIG 10/10!!!
