Thanks for the support guys.. i like to set up a story...and its no diferent with this image. originaly i was inspired by the book 'Child in Time' by Ian McEwan....specifically one line...'a stubborn conspiracy of objects' and it grew from there!
nice, i had some idea of what u were creating here but didnt see any prelims running up2 it....this is wicked in both meanings of the word.looks like a food pyramid taking place here. nice work. :~)
Great that you guys all liked it :D.. but if it's too dark.. you need to set your monitor contrast levels to 'GRiMstandard'... which allows for.. perpetual twighlight and the flickering mirk of reed torches that illuminate the dank squalor of the lair i call home!...or in other words its a bit dark in my room.. so i got my brightness and cointrast levels up high!.. :D
It is a little bit too dark. I cant really make anything out. It works really well as a sci fi image though. Looks right out of a movie. However, I dont understand why it is in the household images gallery.
I like constructive criticism. So dont be offended by me... I mostly I am honest so that you are honest with me as well. I want to know how I can improve.
thanks everyone.....the suffering teddy...:D i really enjoyed that manipulation.. it is avi's teddy bear.. he had given me permission to actually rip him up.. bought i thought i'd just see how i could hurt him in PS instead ;)
Cassie .. the image is in the household objects contest gallery because its a contest entry..if you go to the image description there is a link to all the original images used to make the picture.. which are household objects found in our team members houses....
I think this is the best entry so far. Might send our team back to the drawing board... this one is better than the other I think, certainly very evocative, and a great example of how to exploit the different skills of the individual team members.
Congratulations!!! It's good to know I can still tell what's what... You guys are some of the finest digital artists I know and together you are smashing! You really deserve this. :)
Congrats on your great win! I can tell that you all put quite a bit of thought into this especially after looking at the unedited images and the end result is really well done. It is a very edgy and atmospheric image. It would make a great CD cover...reminds of music by TOOL or the like. You should all be proud! :D
Thanks to everyone.. at the end of the day i'm as pround of my images as i am proud of the community that views and supports them!... roll on the next contest!!
