This reminds me of a collage created from wood curls or maybe curled/curved bark. Different sorts of wood/bark giving slightly different textures and tones, some of them almost flat, some with a more pronounced spring. I didn't think I would like this - not my first choice of colour scheme - but I actually like it a lot. It has a beautiful warm feel to it and it reminds me of the natural without trying to fake it. It's like a virtual symbol of the natural - not like something virtual trying (unsuccessfully) to fool you that it is natural.

If this is sand, it sure is purty! Very creative designs in this abstract. I like all the whirling lines going various ways - good movement to this image. A definate southwestern feel to this pattern. And the rich orange color is enticing. A fine job you've done Tyler :)
