I have been absent from this site for quite a while, improving my technique and style. This is the first of a series of images i took on holiday in the Scottish Highlands, i saw this house on the side of a sea loch and thought it would make a perfect b&w picture. Hope you like it and keep an eye out for more!

Nice shot with the dramatic skys and strong shadows. A little faded at the bottom.

Yes, drama is what I feel from this. Well composed and like the high light detail on the house.

The dramatic sky along with the rugged landscape sets this scene off nicely. B & W was a perfect choice as it enhances the drama. Love the isolation of the house too. Excellent work. Faves!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Remarkable! A stark scene with a sensual barrage of textures. For all the rich detail in the image, it's somehow that one wire leading to the house that carries the message most powerfully. Excellent work in all respects.

Stunning! Love the clouds, how do you make them look so dramatic? Love it!
