This was taken in Hanover Ma., in October. Some of these markers date back to the early 1700`s from what I saw.A typical scene here in New England.

So very true. Lots of NE has towns with commons like these that dress up for Autumn and we have lots of really nice old graveyards. I like the way you took the shot through the the lovely tree bough.

Tom, you have a good eye! Thank-you for a very nice image! The trunk's presence on the screen has a weighted effect on the viewer.

Beautifully colored Tom. I have said it before. When you go to the eastern U.S. You realize just how young the rest of it is.

Perfect the way you framed the church with the tree's foliage! I think I would have cropped in a little left and right, though. Take a bit from the heaviness of the trunk and get rid of the stray headstones on the right. Just MHO. Good eye for capturing New England's peace and quiet.

I love it just the way it is. I like your POV and with that trunk over on the left, it's perfect for my array of icons. Since I live here, I get to see this all the time, but somehow not quite in the way that you, as an artist, saw it. I sure miss fall...November is..well...bleak!
