Really nice contrast on those water waves, Tom. The black and white helps increase the sense of eeriness.

Believe it or not my favorite type of skies. Those creamy highlights seem such a contrast to the metallic choppy waters. I like the hint of blue shining through..And.. then moon crept up on the other side.. : )

I do not quite understand why people think this is B&W. I see blue sky and subtle pinks on the clouds. The knife edges on the water, in fact the structure of the water is superb and contrasts so well with the more fluffy sky. I like the layout of the picture, with the closer reed bed encroaching from the right, but I think the little branches above it just get in the way. A slight loss of detail near the sun, but probably unavoidable, although perhaps a little less aperture might have helped without taking too much away from the water. This is a minor thing and the picture stands up so well anyway.
