This is so lovely! I can feel myself laying down a nice blanket on that beautiful sand, and just absorbing the sun and the quiet. I love the ripples in the sand near the little tree. Isn't it fantastic how the winds of nature can make such gorgeous patterns?! This little tree looks so alone, yet it gives me such comfort. I'd love to spend a day here. Thanx for a most wonderful photo Tom...Verena

Beautiful layers of sand and the lone tree. The sea adds another dimension to this shot. I just voted high score in VB for this image.

Looks like it could use a little watering. Nice, Tom. What's that tower/monument on the hill in the distance?

Tom - The tree won't win the best looking contest, but is will take the resilience award. You provided plenty of dune for the photo border and the line of grass above to give the tree a nice perspective. Well done! Thad

A wonderful sympathetic image, Tom. The poor little tree looks like it's drowning in the sand and is crying out for someone to save it.

Great eye capturing this one. I really like the tree roots running through the sand and the grass behind it is wonderful.

Would definitely catch my eye. Excellent contrasts in the wind swept sand. I like the ripples surrounding it too.
