It's beautiful surrounded by these fall colors and in this image the river seems very wide. I bet it got it's name from the fact that it bends many times in it's journey. Easy to see which way the wind is blowing as you took this lovely shot.

Beautiful picture and a wonderful place to contemplate.

Another fine shot of the Eel River, Tom. Still don't know what those wooden structures are all about. Looks like the wind was picking up. I'd say great place for a picnic but for all I know it's freezing there. Certainly is scenic. Exceptional detail especially on those distant trees on the far side. On this shot you have the horizon line running right down the middle of the shot. Personally I would have cropped off half the sky and a portion ion the right side. Other than that it's a beauty of a shot.

You continue to display great color and clarity. These shots are beautiful, Tom.

They are both great shots, but I find myself liking the other one best as well.
