Another recent fractal render (Apophysis 7X version 9), this time using Shortgreenpigg's wonderful 3D Stairways script. The Apo gradient was one of mine, more subtle than I normally use, but I couldn't resist jazzing things up after it was rendered! It was manipulated in Photoshop Elements 2.

It was making me think of 'The Time Machine' by H.G. Wells... something to do with what happens to people when they get dragged into the underworld.

(I said 'another recent...' because I put my first Apo 7X render on dA.... cough. Please see Hold the Cream for a brief of my recent Apophysis problems! Cream and Sugar seems slightly more popular, though).

Fabulous work, Tootles! I'm really enjoying the variety of textures and transparent elements! Such beautiful colours and 3D effect! Looks like a great deal of work went into this, but certainly well worth the outcome! Way to go!

p.s. I have never used the "save all parameters" command, but I see that you have discovered a work around for the problem you were running into :)
