This smoking volcano is related to my earlier post New World in the Morning. I was struggling with it, which was why I didn't post it first! My main problem (apart from beginnerism) is monitor calibration! I have three computers (one ancient, one newer and a small cheap laptop), and I said to Mum yesterday they're like the Three Bears. "This one is too dark! This one is too pale. Oh, but this one is just right!"

But when you put something you were happy with on the dark and the pale screens, and see how murky or washed-out it looks, it puts a damper on your inclination to post anything.

Bryce 6.1 (PC), with post-processing in Photoshop Elements 8 (Mac).

Thanks, Donna -- I struggled with it for at least 12 days. :-)
