Another brilliant piece of art Sandra. Ambiguous, but highly detailed, it could be anything, or nothing. My take is the Escutcheon, a heraldry symbol derived from battle shields in medieval days. Reminiscent of the Heater shield, used by foot & horse soldiers around the 15th century. The crisp, and apparently designed look draws us in, searching for a function or clue to it's clockwork nature. Beautiful and complex work.
