Created for Connie's contest. A bit messy, sorry, but it's the first time I've done one of these impressionism thingies. :-)

My red girl cat, sunning herself in June 2015, painted in Photoshop CS5.

Cat was traced, but grid reference used for the rest of the picture. Custom Photoshop brush.

Wish I could have hung onto it for another few days, but it's got to go online now. This might be my last wallpaper for a while... events beyond my control. :-(

Before we go... a nice reggae beat that was often on during this: Mysterious Girl (Peter Andre).

I'm not aware of the contest you mentioned, but I do like how this turned out, your very creative. I hope we see back soon, good luck with whatever is going on in your life. tigs=^..^=

Oh, Sandra means the Impressionism contest. That's a pretty kitty hiding amidst the greens.

Thanks Tigs, and Connie too. :-) Yes, impressionism contest... how could anyone let that pass? Even if you had to enter a pasta collage, and this entry is pretty much that. :-/

at first i wasnt too sure of this contest topic. after getting in the mood, so to speak, its a pretty cool one and has many faces. I like the fact that we have so many different views that have been posted. truly not a cookie cutter contest...thats a good thing! you have something unique Tootles, thats a good thing! I view it as(and im not good at descriptions mind you) a sort of mosaic art? a fine entrie.

What happens if you get scared half to death... twice?

Thanks, Stylo, it certainly looks better at a distance. :-) Probably the different ways people can handle this subject are endless, so it's not a contest topic that would wear out. I found myself wondering if there were different ways I could do this same picture, but... I don't have time! If I stay too long here, I'll just start...
